About the event

Fan of the Culture: African Print Fan Class is a hands-on creative workshop celebrating culture, craftsmanship, and self-expression through textile art. Participants will create their own vibrant African print hand fan inspired by traditional designs and contemporary style.


Using colorful Ankara fabric and simple construction techniques, students will design a functional and fashionable accessory perfect for summer, cultural celebrations, or everyday statement pieces. This beginner-friendly class encourages creativity while honoring the beauty and influence of African textiles and artistry.


All materials are provided. No experience necessary.
