About the event
Jewelry with African Prints is a hands-on creative workshop where participants will design and create unique wearable art inspired by the beauty and cultural significance of African textiles. Using vibrant Ankara fabric scraps, beads, and jewelry findings, students will craft custom earrings and bracelets while exploring creativity, self-expression, and cultural storytelling through fashion.
This beginner-friendly class introduces basic jewelry-making techniques while encouraging sustainability through the reuse of fabric remnants and mixed materials. Participants will leave with one-of-a-kind handmade accessories that celebrate culture, color, and creativity.
All materials are provided. No experience necessary.
