Sustainability Series: Eco-Printing with Flowers
Discover the beauty of nature through fabric! In this hands-on sustainability workshop, you’ll learn the art of eco-printing by hammering fresh flowers and leaves into pre-treated fabric to create beautiful one-of-a-kind botanical prints. This beginner-friendly class explores a simple, eco-conscious textile art technique while encouraging creativity and appreciation for the natural world.
Fabric will be pre-prepared so students can focus on designing and creating their botanical artwork. Please note that this process involves repetitive hammering, so it may not be suitable for individuals with limited hand or wrist mobility.
