About the event
Join us for a practical and beginner-friendly Mending & Tailoring Basics Workshop at Marcus Recreation Center! Learn simple sewing techniques to help extend the life of your clothing while building confidence using a sewing machine. Participants will explore basic mending skills such as repairing small holes, fixing seams, patching, hemming, and simple alterations.
Have a garment that needs a little love? Feel free to bring an item that needs mending, and we’ll see if we can help repair it during class!
