About the event
Celebrate Black Rodeo weekend with an evening of creativity, community, and cinema! Join us for a special screening of The Harder They Fall while you sew, craft, or simply relax and enjoy the movie.
Bring your current sewing project, crochet, embroidery, knitting, or other handheld craft and spend the evening creating alongside fellow makers. Cowboy hats, boots, and western attire are highly encouraged to celebrate the spirit of the Black Rodeo!
This is a donation-based event, and all proceeds support the programs of Sew a Seed Foundation. Seating is available for everyone, and a limited number of Brother sewing machines may be rented for $5 if you need one. Wireless headphones will also be available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fresh popcorn will be available for purchase, and you’re welcome to bring your own favorite snacks to enjoy during the movie.
