Join us for Sew With Me, a four-day fashion design mini camp created specifically for adults ages 18 and up, held at the South Dallas Cultural Center. This hands-on sewing experience is perfect for beginners and confident beginners looking to strengthen their garment-making skills in a supportive, creative environment.
Over the course of four Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM participants will work step-by-step to create a stylish knit dress using the S9741 Pattern by Simplicity. This versatile knit dress is ideal for the winter season and transitions beautifully into spring.
Throughout the camp, students will learn how to:
Read and understand a commercial sewing pattern
Properly lay out and cut knit fabric
Sew and assemble a complete dress using foundational garment-construction techniques

Ticket- Bring your own fabric
This ticket is for people who would like to bring their own fabric. We will send out an email to everyone so that they are aware of how much fabric is needed. Anticipate atleast 3 yards of knit material. Yardage will change based on size.
