One On One Sewing Basics Lesson

Service Description

Book A Private session with our Founder and Lead Designer Chelita Lenice. Sessions will be held as schedule permits. Sewing Machine is not required to bring, however, if you prefer to use your own machine please feel free to bring it to class! Students will learn the basic fundamentals of Sewing, including but not limited to: -Sewing Machine Basics -Intro to Patterns -Most common stitches and seams -Fabric Basics TSC prides themselves on offering quality classes. Topics as discussed will be covered over multiple sessions. There is no way to cover all topics in one 1.5 hr session so we encourage students to return back for additional sessions. This class is for beginners and students wanting to learn additional skills. Special topics can be added based on knowledge level of the student and up to the instructor. The instructor will assess the learning ability of the student and adjust if needed as we understand each student start at different levels of experience. Youth will have to be 8 year and older. Signed waiver is required for first session.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for Private One-on-One Lessons: 1. Cancellation by Participant: - Participants must notify us of any cancellations at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations are non refundable. - Failure to provide the required notice will result in forfeiture of the lesson without the option to reschedule. - Cancellations made within the stipulated time frame can be rescheduled for a later date, subject to availability. 2. No-Show Policy: - Participants who fail to attend the scheduled lesson without prior notice will forfeit the lesson without the option to reschedule. 3. Cancellation by That's Sew Creative!: - We reserve the right to cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, such as instructor unavailability, emergencies, or inappropriate behavior by the participant. - In such cases, we will notify the participant as soon as possible and offer the option to reschedule the lesson at no additional cost. If the cancellation is due to inappropriate behavior, no refund will be provided. 4. Rescheduling: - Participants may request to reschedule a lesson, subject to availability. - All rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. 5. Refunds: - Please note that there are no refunds for cancelled lessons. The only option available is to reschedule the lesson for a later date. 6. Waiver: - If the participant is a minor under 18 years of age, a guardian must sign a waiver on behalf of the student before attending the lesson. 7. Participant Conduct: - Participants are expected to behave appropriately during lessons. - That's Sew Creative! reserves the right to cancel a lesson without refund in the event of disruptive or inappropriate behavior. - For in-home private lessons, participants should be dressed appropriately and provide an area conducive to learning, free from interruptions.
